I like to chosing character. Just only thing is interesting.
Second Life is difficult than oovoo. At first I couldn't enter our classroom, i chatted with professor by oovoo. After I can enter the room.
advantages / disadvantages
Advantage of Second life is that student can take a class without going to school as oovoo.
A teacher don't know whether students listen to class or not. A teacher can't see their face so students can't take a class. Students can perfunctorily answer professor's questions.
How could you use it for your teaching?
When students want to know other culture or have a question, they logged Second Life.
