5.1

1. Discuss how you can use blogs, wikis OR podcasts in language teaching.
As teachers' blog is space that store own data, teachers can have a quick look all learning materials.
Learners can download the data anytime and anywhere.
So teaching with blogs can do self-directed learning.
And learners can get a understanding effect in some detail as they wrote on their blog that related to learning contents.
The best way to use podcasts in language teaching is listening activities.
By using the information desired when learners want the content learners can get learning effect, concentration, motivation than radio that unilaterally communicate information.

2. Discuss the difference between a blog and a wiki.
Wikis organize information by the index and link.
In knowledge sharing respect wikis are more efficient than blogs.
Visitors can create new pages or edit the existing postings and share.
Wikis are suitable for Collaborative Learning.
A blog displayed in chronological order so the most recent post appears first.
The importance of the previous contents can decline as time goes by.
Contents are updated by blogger who posted the information.
Blogs are suitable the unstructured task performance by comparison with Wikis.(personal experiences and feelings, diary, etc)

reflection assignment

I learned multimedia in English Language teaching way to apply for several weeks. What is CALL, Types of CALL Programs, Finding Materials on the Web, Evaluating Websites...etc. I feel way to evaluate learning websites is the newest and fun. If I master English I want to create the site for learners who are experiencing difficulty in English. Out of consideration to the evaluation contents if I build a learning website, I’d be comfortable in making the site. In addition, I think when learners access my site; they would be easily found the wanted data. I want to make my site is able to be caused learning motive, and indirectly experience an English-speaking culture.
I can’t speak English fluently. So, when I teach pronunciation and intonation I will take advantage of multimedia by using. I have seen the movie how to pronounce on YouTube in the past. X-ray videos were taken. I think “The movie is in more detail than I teach students in learning” To overcome this weakness, of course, I should study harder. Studying to make use of multimedia without having to go to English-speaking places is the easiest way to learn.
Through this class, my strength is more powerful. I enjoy learning new things. In particular, this class topic was the subject I was interested. So I seem to do tasks more interesting in every week. I am going to taking the remaining classes in the future with good feeling.
